Illustration about Juan Negrín López (1892-1956), a physiologist doctor and President of Spanish Second Republic at exile, between 1937 and 1945. This work references his second PhD thesis, titled The vascular tone and mechanism of the vasotonic action of the splanchnic. During his exile he went through Mexico and London, and finally settled in Paris, where he died at 64 in 1956.
