Exile in the stars
Poster about the physicist and astronomer from Badajoz Pedro Carrasco Garrorena (1883-1966), director of the Madrid Astronomical Observatory during Spanish Civil War and dean of Science Faculty at University of Madrid. In 1939, he was divested as professor due to his commitment with Republican Government and after Francisco Franco victory he was exiled to Mexico. He outstands on teaching and by his research about the solar corona. This work is inspired by this period´s communist posters.
